Bulls suspend Rajon Rondo for one game

Chicago point guard Rajon Rondo was suspended for Monday’s game against Portland for conduct detrimental to the team, the Bulls announced.

Beat writer K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune offered a bit of detail:

Told that Rondo snapped at coaching staff and has already apologized to coaches, teammates. Attended team function on Sunday.

Rondo, 30, is averaging 8.2 points and 7.2 points while shooting 39.1 percent with a 13.1 player-efficiency rating – his lowest numbers in each category since his rookie season.
