Reports: Bucks add D.J. Augustin, Bobby Portis

Bobby Portis brings a physical presence to Milwaukee’s frontcourt.

The Bucks continued their aggressive offseason makeover on Saturday, agreeing to free agent deals with forward Bobby Portis and point guard D.J. Augustin per various reports from The Athletic’s Shams Charania and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The additions come on the heels of Milwaukee’s imminent trade for Jrue Holiday and the reported departures of Robin Lopez and Ersan Ilyasova.

Portis, 25, averaged 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Knicks last season, his fifth in the NBA. He is averaging 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds for his career.

Augustin, 33, will be joining his ninth team in 13 NBA seasons. He is averaging 9.9 points and 4.0 assists for his career.
