3 Best UFC Vegas 96 Main Card Bets

1. Tabatha Ricci via points (+125)

The forthcoming face-off between Angela Hill and Tabatha Ricci is anticipated to be a tight match, but I am leaning towards the possibility of Ricci scoring a win on points. Hill, who is on the verge of turning 40, will be competing against an opponent a decade her junior. This is not a favorable situation for Hill considering her recent performance; she has only won 4 out of her last 9 fights that went the full distance. BetOnline also predicts that this bout will likely reach the round limit (-450), which further compounds Hill’s challenges.

Given Ricci’s impressive 5-1 record in matches that go the full distance since joining the UFC, I anticipate that the judges in Vegas will favor her once again.

2. Ryan Loder vs. Robert Valentin u2.5 Rounds (-155)

As Ryan Loder and Robert Valentin gear up to determine the victor of the Ultimate Fighter 32 middleweight tournament, I anticipate a short match. Given that Loder and Valentin have a combined total of 13 finishes in 21 fights, it’s clear they don’t waste time in the ring. They’re both determined to win, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they attempt to finish the match early.

Furthermore, four out of Loder’s seven professional matches ended in less than 2.5 rounds, and the same can be said for 11 out of Valentin’s 14 fights.

3. Neil Magny vs. Michael Morales Won’t Go the Distance (+125)

Neil Magny and Michael Morales are set to clash in a fierce welterweight bout at UFC Vegas 96. However, it’s likely that the match may not last the full three rounds. This is based on past performances where four of Magny’s previous six fights ended before full time, and 12 out of Morales’ 16 career fights didn’t go the distance. On average, Morales’ fights last about 12:03 minutes, while Magny’s average fight time is slightly longer at 12:44 minutes.

Given that Morales, who is the clear favorite, has an impressive 75.0% finish rate, I simply cannot envision this fight lasting until the end.
