Raiders safety Roderic Teamer arrested on DUI charge, inactive vs. Chiefs

LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Raiders reserve safety Roderic Teamer was arrested Saturday night on charges of driving under the influence and speeding, both misdemeanors, and is inactive for Sunday’s home game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

On Sunday morning, 26-year-old Teamer was released from custody.

“In a statement, the Raiders acknowledged an incident involving Roderic Teamer last night. The team stated that they are currently gathering more information and will not provide any further comments at the moment,”

Teamer, who was just activated off injured reserve on Saturday, has participated in six games this season.

In 2020, the NFL suspended him for four games for breaching the league’s substance-abuse policy.
