Paul suffered a left adductor strain against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night and missed Friday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Houston has lost its last two games after a 14-game winning streak that coincided with Paul’s return from monthlong absence due to a left knee contusion.

In the 16 games he has played this season, Paul is averaging 17.1 points with 9.0 assists while shooting 47.7 percent shooting from the field.
